Notes on the Priesthood Ordination Ceremony

The following excerpts are taken from the Priest Ordination Ceremony of the Holy Order of MANS.

Preamble, read by the ordaining master:

“For God so loved the world that he gave the Lost Word to Man – that this being, Man, might see earth and heaven together. He gave His Son, Christ Jesus, that Man might fulfill the glory of being the Son of God.

“Traveling from infinity to infinity, surrounded in royal purple, to take his place above the angels, requiring but one act – that he love his creator first. Then would all other things be added unto him. With pride in the words and works of the Father, which bringeth peace and harmony.

“Love that is conceived and born through self-forgetting service to God, Man, and Spirit.”

Next, comes the communion service. When the initiate is served the Body, the ordaining master says, “Now partake of the bread of the fruits of Christ, through our Lord Jesus Christ. Cherish it always as a divine rite of Holy Alchemy. This is his body; eat and be absolved.”

“Drink of this, the essence of life, and receive the divine atonement of all past error, divined by Christ Jesus, Lord of Earth. This his blood.”

“Are you, ___________, ready to take on the mantle of God and the Holy Order of MANS as a Minister-Priest?”

The initiate says, “Yes, I am ready to serve the Nameless One, the Creator, and Man, through the Holy Order of MANS.”

The assistant asks, “Will you also, for the next two years, until you have completed your training, serve the Holy Order of MANS?”

Initiate says, “Yes, and I will abide by her laws.”

Next, the initiate accepts the vows of Poverty, Service, Chastity, and Humility, saying, “I [accept these vows] from this time forth.”

The ordaining master blesses the initiate’s cross and says, “I return unto you this cross. Wear it as an eternal symbol of the divine path and protection. Let it remind you of the great gift of our Lord at Calvary.”

Tying the cord around the initiate’s waist, the ordaining master says, “With this cord, I thee gird, with the symbol of the divine right and authority given to all truly ordained Minister-Priests.”

Then, the assistant reads, “O Creator of all this system of orbs, Creator of all the seen and unseen, above all, Creator of all Men, in all forms, in His own image and power.

“We accept the one-ness of God and Man; we stretch forth our hands to all races as brothers of equal deity, in God and power.”

The initiate responds, “In God’s name, and in the name of Christ Jesus, I give myself and all earthy wares in the service to God and the Son and all Mankind.”

Then, the ordaining master places his hands on the initiate’s shoulders, joining himself with the initiate in accepting the gift, saying, “Father, I accept supply of material and spiritual strength for him.”

Next, the ordaining master blesses the ring and Rod of Power, saying, “Empower this rod with the reality and edict of the Law, that unto him that I give it so it shall be done.

“This ring, symbolic of the holy ring which shall encompass the Earth, shall be a symbol of protection and shall be recognized by all priests in the divine Priesthood of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

“I give unto you this Rod of Power. Accept it and hold it in humility, as a symbol of the authority given by God to all truly ordained ministers and priests.”

The initiate says, “In the presence of the Hosts above and Men of one mind, I take this vow, being of sound mind and body, to the eternal glory of all, forevermore.”

The new priest then offers his hands, saying, “Receive these hands and use them. Command them in the service of God. For they are now the hands of the Creator and the Holy Order of MANS.”

The ordaining master then says, “Now let it be known, in accordance with divine edict, for  what thou bindest on Earth is bound in heaven. What is bound in heaven is bound on Earth.

“Now, with the powers of heaven, and the legal powers vested in me, a servant of the Nameless One, I do vest in thee and with the title of ‘Minister of the Sons of God,’ through the instrument of the Holy Order of MANS.

“With this ring thou art wed from everlasting to everlasting, in the service of the Almighty and Nameless One.

“And it shall be acknowledged by all.”

Then the ordaining master says, “I charge you that you will hold sacred the trust of the Father and this Order, as well as to never divulge any personal information given by a brother Man, giving help and healing, and that this is to be your first duty.”

The new priest says, “I will.”

The ordaining master says, “I therefore pronounce you a universal servant to all Man anywhere and a Minister-Priest in the Holy Order of MANS, following after the form of the ancient Order of Melchizedek. thou art a minister-priest forever, under the divine, mystic Order of the Golden Cross, called _______________. Arise now, being in Light-Life-Love.”

The ordaining master greets the new priest with the Bishop’s Kiss.
